Ester Bryand: I would say consult your lawyer, as this looks like extortion. If you can, call your new insurance provider and see if they can pay up the difference.
Asa Soho: In practical terms, they probably won't track back to see that the work was done.If they did figure it out they may try to get you to do the work. At a minimum they might tell you that if you had another loss you would not get paid for the kitchen work again.
Lillie Yarde: It's not fraud. But they very well might demand receipts and proof that the work was done. And you can bet they won't pay for any of that a second time, since you didn't replace it the first time.
Kelly Bistodeau: NOOO elll them to F OFFBTW. you need to phrase this in dollars, not many in here know what 1050 pounds is, other than that is one HEAVY item....Show more

Mohamed Szollosi: I am not from America but I worked for Insurance Company in India. first thing what i could get is that the Company didn't cancelled the policy with immediate effect. check when the policy cancelled in the record of the Company.second thing when you got the policy your risk was covered by that Company. if any accident happened in that you would have claimed the amount so they will charge you for those days. plz confi! rm how many days your policy was inforce....Show more
La! velle Viveiros: Since they're not "clear on the pay scale", it seems to me like there isn't going to be any pay - it really sounds like a straight commission sales job, you don't sell, you don't get paid.
Annabell Bevier: They just want some money from you. How can you owe them £320 for 8 days. In total your insurance costs £1050 it does not make sense, also you mentioned they said you could cancel within 14 days no charge. I would recommend you phoning them and stating this if they still want the money, then you should seek a solicitor as you should not have to pay the company.
Ira Porietis: @Ed Fox,Its payment protection for my over draft i think. It just suddenly started in 2008 with out my knowledge. Its suppose to cover me if i go unemployed and such like.I think your the joker for not understanding the situation fully, and jumping to conclusions! ;)
Dorethea Beaston: Hey there,I have been paying payment protection on my debit card since feb 2008. @ ! £2.40 a month.i didn't need it and reckon i was miss-sold it.I have just got around to logging a complaint about it.and my question is am i eligible for a refund from barclays?and whats the best way of going about this all? Thanks in advance.
Ronny Dorge: Nope. I had my floor scratched up by delivery guys and they paid me for the floor. I bought a rug to cover the scratches.

Catheryn Small: I was recently hired at trajan insurance as a financial professional. They want me to pay $580 to get my insurance license before I even start. The company sells insurance and other financial options to consumers. They werent clear on my pay scale either. The office is located in Tampa, Fl.. Does anyone know anything about this? Please help in anyway you can. thank you
Tosha Tawney: Either the operator gave you the wrong information, or you misunderstood them. You cannot get "free insurance" for up to 14 days. When you cancel your policy early, you pay a cancellation fee.So you got nailed. They're going to take you to court and win. You'll never be able to prove that she said that, even if she DID say that, because there! 's no "cooling off" period with car insurance. If they say you don't owe them any money, have them put it in writing, so you can bring that to court, when you get sued. I don't think they will....Show more
Oda Mauson: My insurance company gave me a check for $6,491.00 to repair bathroom plumbing, replace kitchen tile, etc. when both bathrooms developed leaks. I got someone to fix both bathroom leaks, flooring, etc. for $1100.00. I did not replace the kitchen tile nor the kitchen countertops because they look fine to me. Would this be considered fraud if I keep the $5391.00 difference? Will the insurance company come back to my home to check to see all the work was done or not?
Gabriel Realmuto: Is there a written section on your policy or the company's website saying if you cancel your policy within 14 days then you pay nothing? If not then you might be up the creek, however I would ask how they came up with that figure for so short a time on risk. If there is! then the next time they call refer them to that section of the policy ! or that section of their website (you may want to print out that section right now in case they change it) and ask them to confirm that the policy was canceled within the allotted time and then tell them to go pound sand....Show more
Asley Quickle: No problem. They evaluated the 'loss in value' and you're free to live with it if you so choose.
Betsey Muehlbach: Cancel it.You got sold something you did not need.Did you know those plans did almost nothing for you?Even if you can't pay all they do is suspend the payments.(does not wipe out any debt)^ pretty useless, isn't it? And after 6 months, you have to start paying anyway.Unfortunately, you signed up for it.They will have to charge you up to the date you cancelJust like with any type of insurance, you have to pay up to the date you use it
