Elissa Curlin: You can find a number of stencils at a local craft store. If you have acrylic paint at home already, you can anchor the stencil to the notebook and then paint inside the stencil directly onto the book. Or you can spray directly onto the book with your spray paint. Use a couple of colours of paint if you want to, and scatter some glitter across the wet paint if you like. Or you can 'draw' on the wet acrylic paint with a wooden skewer or even an old pen that has run out of ink. You can also press bubble wrap into the paint and get texture that way.Carefully lift off the stencil so your image doesn't smudge while it is wet and allow to dry, overnight is best. Practice first on scratch paper to make sure you have the look you want.As for a title, use the first line of your favourite poem.
