Randall Twehous: Make a backup of the file (just in case), and put it aside. Try exporting a new file from your genealogy program and give it a different name. Your computer could have had an issue while making the first file, thus it might be corrupted. Test the new output file (you could call it testing.ged), then try importing it BACK into your program as if it came from elsewhere. Just be sure you are making a new database (separate from your main file). Thus, if it 'comes' back in with no problem, you know the problem is not your end. Something else that is possible is that you have had a normal file, and resaved it, calling it a .ged file when it isn't. I've done that even with 20+ yrs computer background. Clay Lipira: Your file could be corrupt or there could be a problem with Ancestry in uploading at the moment. It's hard to say. Check your file first and if you feel it's fin! e, you might try contacting Ancestry tech support about it.
